An Adelaide Photographers Dream – Maddy & Sam’s Wedding

On a beautiful warm and sunny day on October 31st 2015, I was lucky enough to be chosen out of all Adelaide photographers to photograph Maddy and Sam’s wedding day and evening.

In the morning I got some great shots of Maddy with her five bridesmaids getting ready for the big day at Adina Treasury. Adina Treasury is Adelaide’s former Treasury Building, dating from 1839, and made a stunning backdrop for bridal preparations.

There were then more photos of the bride being whisked away in a shiny black limo ready to meet Sam for the 2pm wedding at the stately Glanville Hall, Semaphore.

Listed as Adelaide’s best kept secret wedding venue and only a stone’s throw from the stunning Semaphore beach, this venue was ideal for wedding photography. The pink and white colors chosen for the wedding looked stunning against the Glanville Hall backdrop and the ceremony went without a hitch.

By 6.30pm everyone was at The Ellington, Hackney Road, Adelaide for the reception, a beautiful refurbished art deco building dating from the 1920’s. The DJ entertained everyone and a great time was had by all, the night culminated with Maddy and Sam jetting off for a Thailand honeymoon.

Enjoy these sneak peeks and feel free to leave Maddy & Sam your thoughts in the comment box.
